Hiking
The region
surrounding the hotel, particularly the
Karwendel Nature Reserve, is especially
suited for hiking and alpine trekking. Our
reception or the local tourism office can
advise you of all opportunities. Please
be aware that some alpine hikes may require
appropriate equipment for your safety! The
trek following the Zirbenweg trail is particularly
popular, leading from Patscherkofel in Innsbruck
to Glungezer and Tulfes. You can view a
more detailed description of the Zirbenweg
hike here.
Cycling
& Mountain Biking
Numerous
mountain biking routes trace the mountains
around Hall. A mountain biking map can be
obtained at the Hall-Wattens tourist board
for 5 Euro, and contains:
• 8 tours with approx.
145 km included in the descriptions
• elevation profiles and detail views
• ratings for fun, landscape, trail
conditions, and technique
Our recommendation:
Thaur – Thaurer Alm
In the draft of the pros
This is the place where pros and amateurs
alike come every autumn for an intense ride,
so all other bikers can be sure to get their
fill. On the Thaur-Thaurer Alm, you will
not be wanting for views or mountain huts.
For more specific details on the Thaur-Thaurer
Alm route, see the homepage:
Lakes
The Lansersee
Nature Resort is only 9km away and easily
reached in 15 minutes by car.
Swimming
pools
The Hall Aquatic
Centre is located only a few metres from
the hotel and available for a refreshing
dip during the hot summer. Children’s
pool and slides are available for the little
ones, and a 10m diving board for the adults.
The facilities also offer miniature golf,
beach volleyball, and football.
Running
& Nordic Walking
Nordic walking
utilizes walking poles – similar to
cross-country skiing. Almost 90% of the
body's musculature, including the under-utilized
upper body, is trained by walking with poles.
As such, Nordic walking is especially good
for those with sedentary jobs.
The Hall – Wattens Region offers many
ideal Nordic walking tours for beginners
and advanced walkers. Nordic walking poles
can be rented for €4.00 per day at
the tourist board upon presentation of your
guest card.
Seefeld offers fantastic hiking areas as
well as an alpine running and Nordic walking
training centre.
